Sometimes when I sit down to paint I use the leftover oils from previous projects. This gives me the chance to use up paint and not waste good paint. A lot of my favorite messing about paintings come from doing this. They are usually random and colorful maybe odd but always a snapshot at my thoughts while I was painting.

This oil painting was created using a light impasto technique. The canvas size is 9” x 12”, with an approximately 1” margin on each side.
